Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party who left Nigeria some two weeks ago to an unknown destination has returned
In a press statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Communication Simon Imobo-Tswam, the chairman who has been fingered in some financial irregularities was in Europe for two weeks, though the particular country in Europe was not mentioned.

“Ayu returns to Nigeria after two weeks abroad.
“The PDP National Chairman, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, has returned to the country after a two-week trip to Europe.
“His plane touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at about 7pm.
“Ayu jetted out of the country on September 14.
“While he was away, the Deputy Chairman (North), Amb. Iliya Damagun, acted in his place.
“The national chairman also communicated the handover to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).”
