As the 21st National sports Festival holding in Asaba, Delta state swings on, the National Secretary of the Teqball federation Ndudi Edede says there alot of talents spread across the country that can dominate the scene of the game at the international level.

He made the acertion during the finals of the Teqball event at the National sports Festival, in Asaba. Edede who was Satisfied with outcome of the tourney that’s was demonstrated at the games, said alot need to be done towards the development of the game in Nigeria, adding that the challenges are enormous but this is a favourable atmosphere for private investors to help lift the game in Nigeria.

” We are taking our time to sharpen the man power, human capacity to improve the organisation of Teqball in the country, though the challenges are enormous, we have the potential talents here in Nigeria that can dominate the scene of the game at international level’.

“We shall focus on developing the game so as to meet up with the international standard, Edede posited.
The passionate Chief scribe of the Teqball federation, said in no distance time the event will become scoring at the National sports Festival as the federation is working fast to achieve that goal as it will help improve on the game in Nigeria.

On his part, the elated chairman Delta state Teqball, Marvel Dick was full of praise for the participants, the Teqball federation, and the host state, Delta, adding that the demonstration of the game wouldn’t have come than now at the 21st National sports Festival so everyone can see what Teqball is made off.
He expressed hope of the interesting sport been incorporated as a scoring event in future national sports festival in Nigeria.
” I want to commend all the participants, our national secretary of Teqball, our dear state for hosting this demonstration edition of Teqball in this year national sports festival, and it will get better’.
” This is the right time to show everyone, what Teqball is made of, and we hope it becomes a scoring event in future national sports festival, we shall appreciate everyone’s support to help develop the sport, Marvel stated.

Nigeria number one, and world number 18 ranked player Victor Oyemade of Kwara state defeated Nigeria number two ranked player Chinyemere Emmanuel from Imo state to win the singles final on the night.
High points of the event was the presentation of medals and certificates to the various winners.
Six states Participated in the demonstration game, they include host Delta, Edo, Kwara, Imo, kogi and Ogun states.
