The executive committee of the French Football Federation (FFF) in an exclusive meeting have suspended its President, Noel Le Graet over comment on 1998 World Cup winner and France legend, Zinedine Zidane.
The 81-year-old had made degrading comments on the former Real Madrid manager, Zidane and has since then come under fire from both former players, current france players and even President Macron.
Le Graet, when he was interviewed about the French hero taking up the job to manage the Brazil national football team, he, Le Graet replied: “I don’t give a damn, he can go wherever he wants.”

He added: “He [Zidane] does what he wants; it’s none of my business. I’ve never met him, we’ve never considered parting with Didier [Deschamps]. He can go where he wants, to a club… If Zidane tried to contact me? Certainly not, I wouldn’t even pick up the phone.”

Zidane who is well celebrated in France as a football legend and World Cup hero for his magnificent display in the 1998 World Cup finals where he scored twice in a 3–0 win beating Brazil at home and was named man of the match.
According to Sky News, Vice chairman Philippe Diallo has been named acting interim chairman.
