The president of Nigeria, Mr. Muhammadu Buhari will make a national broadcast today via the nation’s native television station, Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) on Thursday, February 16th by 7 am.

Protests that have led to the destruction of lives and properties are going on in various states and it has been predicted to continue if nothing is done to the issue of old naira notes losing its legal tender.
Recall that Truth Live News had earlier reported of the crises and riots that have been ravaging Edo state capital Benin where at least three persons have been feared dead and also, banks being attacked, destroyed and set ablaze in Ilorin, Warri and the host of other states.
These crises could have been adequately contained if the Federal Government and Central Bank of Nigeria had thought of these impeding crises before imposing the new naira notes making the old naira notes invalid or worthless.
