Anambra Supplementary Election Marred By Voters Apathy, As Polling Units Records Low Turnout

The supplementary election conducted by INEC for the House of Representatives for Ogbaru Federal Constituency in Anambra is marred by voter apathy as polling units recorded low turnout of voters.

Inspite of the restriction of movement declared by the Inspector General of police, Usman Baba, in election areas, the sreets of Ogbaru is bustling with business activities.

According to Sahara, A trader in the area, Mr Chikezie Ukachukwu,when asked if they were aware of the election, said that the election is for politicians, that politicians should do their elections while the traders face their business.
