NIGERIA, KOGI – ALTON Chairman, Gbenga Adebayo has disclosed that MTN Network service is to be restored in Kogi state latest by Wednesday as issues leading to the shut down of its masts across the state has been resolved.
Truth live News gathered that Adebayo made the disclosure while speaking with Punch online on Tuesday.
Recall that MTN, a major network that serves majority of the communities in the state was shut down over alleged tax evasion by the network.
Our correspondent in the state revealed that residents rushed to buy sim cards from alternative networks until the issue is resolved with a noticeable crowd at Airtel and Glo shops across the state.
For close to two weeks the network kept fluctuating until it was finally seized on Friday April 25, 2025.

Although the network is yet to be restored as promised, most residents looked forward with eagerness for its restoration as the shut down had a great toll on both individuals and businesses in the state.
