Aisha Yesufu, a social critic and supporter of Peter Obi, has explained that she voted for former President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2015 election because of his running mate, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.
Yesufu revealed that she initially hesitated to support Buhari due to his past actions but eventually came around to voting for him in February 2015 after much consideration.
According to Yesufu, despite Buhari’s tendency to delegate responsibilities, Osinbajo became ineffective in his role as Vice President, likening the position to a spare tire left at home.
Yesufu also criticized those who see Nasir El-Rufai as a viable option, drawing parallels between this perception and how former President Goodluck Jonathan endorsed Buhari.
