Popular comedian-turned-prophet Woli Arole has condemned Nigerian university fellowship leaders for exploiting students by demanding foodstuffs as “first fruits”.
Woli Arole lamented the development on Monday in a post on his Instagram page.
He further revealed that fellowship leaders are reportedly referred to as “Papas and Mamas” in various university campuses across the country.
“I heard they are already calling you ‘Papa and Mama’ in university because you’re a fellowship leader, and you are also telling students to bring their foodstuffs as FIRST FRUIT. What nonsense,” Arole lamented in an Instagram post.
Arole expressed his disapproval of the practice, questioning the leaders’ motives.
