Former Senator for Adamawa Central District, Ishaku Abbo has confirmed that he has survived three assassination attempts in the past, reacting to a warning from Prophet Tudi Hiko about a looming plot to end his life.
Abbo, who was in the Senate from 2019 to 2023 and has declared interest to run for Adamawa governor come 2027, spoke while reacting to a prophecy by Prophet Tudi Hiko.
In a social media post, Prophet Hiko claimed divine revelation of an imminent attack, urging Nigerians to pray for Abbo’s safety as a key figure in God’s plan for Adamawa State.
“I have already escaped three assassinations, one involving soldiers in the North East,” Abbo stated, adding that God saved him each time.
Abbo shared a recent dream from June 5, 2025, in which he was shot in the stomach but survived, a vision he confided to a security aide and one of his wives.
“God has revealed to me that I am targeted,” Abbo stated, expressing steadfast faith.
“The Lord God that saved me from the hands of assassins three times in just one year will save me from more assassins,” Abbo declared, comparing himself to biblical figures like Moses, David, and Jesus.
Abbo is working on a 100-page manifesto to industrialize Adamawa State through agriculture, manufacturing, solid minerals, and technology, promising trillions in revenue to fund free healthcare, education, security, and infrastructure.
“The days of redemption are near,” he proclaimed, rallying supporters to pray and spread his message.
