Members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, family, friends and well-wishers from across the world gathered in London to celebrate the 60th birthday of Pastors Akin and Kenny Soroye.

Guests travelled from Nigeria, Grenada Island, Canada, the United States and several parts of Europe to honour the couple whose lives and ministry have touched many.


The Thanksgiving Service was marked by vibrant worship and heartfelt tributes, with church members and

relatives describe the Soroyes as spiritual parents, mentors and true examples of Christian service.

Pastor Farimu of RCCG Victory Centre, Victoria, Canada, in his sermon, praised them as selfless ministers who have dedicated their lives to advancing the gospel and transforming lives across nations.

He urged the congregation to emulate their humility, compassion and devotion to God.
Tributes poured in throughout the event, highlighting the couple’s generosity, integrity and unwavering faith.

The celebration was not only a milestone of age but a reflection of decades of service, sacrifice and love for God and humanity.

It was an occasion of joy, gratitude and thanksgiving, reaffirming the enduring legacy of Pastors Akin and Kenny Soroye.
