NIZHNY, NOBGOROD – Young entrepreneurs from BRICS nations will now have access to international mentorship opportunities following the launch of the International Business Mentoring Program, a joint initiative of the World Youth Festival Directorate and the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance.

The program was unveiled at the ongoing World Youth Festival, taking place from September 17 to 21 in Nizhny Novgorod.

Open to participants aged 18 to 35, the initiative offers aspiring business leaders practical tools for scaling enterprises, entering new markets, attracting investments, and forging global partnerships.

“The mentoring program is a powerful resource for young entrepreneurs from BRICS countries. Participants will receive practical tools from mentors—successful members of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance—for scaling their businesses, entering new markets, and raising investments, as well as finding potential partners.

The project not only promotes professional growth, but also lays the foundation for long-term economic cooperation and the strengthening of business ties within the association,” said Vakhtang Khiklandze, Deputy Director General of the World Youth Festival Directorate.

Covering eight key sectors—medicine, media and marketing, IT and digitalization, high-tech manufacturing, social entrepreneurship, education, creative industries, agriculture, and food products—the program will feature consultations, master classes, webinars, internships, and startup showcases before potential investors.

Highlighting the program’s broader vision, Anna Nesterova, Chair of the Russian section of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance, emphasized:

“The goal of the initiative is to grow a new generation of business leaders capable of effectively developing international ties and promoting innovative solutions on a global scale. Program participants will gain access not only to the cutting-edge experience of mentors, but also to our network of business contacts on the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance’s unified digital platform, which has already been joined by female entrepreneurs from more than 40 countries.”

The mentorship team includes high-profile figures such as Marianna Ghali (Egypt), Azam Karami (Iran), Zahra Rahai (Iran), Irawati Hermawan (Indonesia), Rinewati Pritahatingi (Indonesia), Lebogang Zulu (South Africa), and Anna Nesterova (Russia).

The program is supported by a wide network of strategic and media partners, including VK Tech, RT, ANO Dialog Regions, Rosatom, Sovcombank, Russian Railways, the Central Bank of Russia, and several youth-oriented initiatives such as Rosmolodezh.Undertake and the Movement of the First.

Organized by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) with support from the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the World Youth Festival Assembly is part of the broader Youth and Children National Project.

Following President Vladimir Putin’s directive to preserve the festival’s legacy, events will be held annually, with a landmark World Youth Festival for 20,000 participants scheduled for 2030, and smaller assemblies continuing each year to foster international youth cooperation.
