The Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial district, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has finally resumed office after the expiration of her six-month suspension.

She arrived at the National Assembly at about 1:10 pm and was greeted by fans and loyalists at the car park beside the arcade of the complex.

She then headed to her office, where she sat on her chair and addressed newsmen and well-wishers.

In her address, she insisted that she will not apologise to the Senate if that is the condition for her return, saying that they should be apologising for the injustice meted out to her.

Akpoti-Uduaghan was suspended on March 6 for six months after a dispute with Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

She accused Godswill Akpabio of sexual harassment.
