CROSS RIVER, CALABAR – The Catholic Archdiocese of Calabar, Nigeria, has announced its 2025 Archdiocesan Harvest celebration, themed “God will restore, establish and strengthen you,” drawn from 1 Peter 5:10.
In a social media post sighted on Thursday, the Archdiocese outlined a detailed programme of activities leading to the Grand Finale on December 14, 2025. The event aims to foster unity, thanksgiving, and spiritual renewal among parishes across the Archdiocese.
According to the release, the circulation of raffle tickets and vendors’ forms will commence on October 26, while the “Star Prize” will move around parishes beginning November 1. A harvest retreat for all parishes is scheduled for November 7.

The statement further indicated that the deadline for submission of goodwill messages is November 15, while mini-launching ceremonies will hold across parishes on December 7.
The Archdiocese emphasized that the Harvest Grand Finale on December 14 would be the spiritual and communal climax of the year’s activities, bringing together faithful from all parishes for thanksgiving and celebration.
Organizers urged parishioners and community members to participate actively in every stage of the programme, noting that the event symbolizes faith, gratitude, and divine restoration.
