Activist Aisha Yesufu criticized Nigerians for seeking quick solutions instead of holding their government accountable, particularly in light of US President Donald Trump’s threat of military intervention over alleged Christian genocide in Nigeria.
Yesufu made this statement in a post on her verified X handle on Sunday in reaction to the threat of the US President.
Truth Live News reports that Trump has asked the Defence Department to prepare for possible military action in Nigeria if the Nigerian government continues to allow the killing of Christians.
Reacting, Aisha said, “As usual, Nigerians will want to abdicate their responsibilities of holding government accountable because now Trump is coming to save them.
“We are always looking for quick fixes.
Just so you know, Saudi Arabia, China are also considered Countries of Particular Concern.”
