Dominik Tarczińsky, a Polish politician and member of the European Parliament, has expressed optimism that Nigerian Christians will be rescued soon.
His statement comes in support of US President Donald Trump’s designation of Nigeria as a “Country of Particular Concern” due to ongoing violence against Christians.
“Nigerian Christians will be rescued very soon,” Tarcziñsky wrote on X, expressing support to US President Donald Trump.
Truth Live News reported that the US President had cited what he described as ongoing violence against Christians and the failure of the government to protect religious minorities.
But the Nigerian government denied persecution of any religious groups in Nigeria.
On Saturday, Trump went ahead to threaten military action against Nigeria if nothing is done about the matter quickly.
