Abdulrazak Isah, convict for life over murder but escaped from Kuje Prisons, Abuja, once again demonstrated that old habits die hard, leading men of the Nigerian Police to arrest him after another act of theft in neighboring Niger State and may be on his way back to jail with fresh sentence added to his previous judgement.
According to docketts, Isa, alongside a certain Isaac Mories, still at large, was arrested for the killing of an Indian Nationale in 2013.
Isa, 27, born and brought up in Bauchi State, according police in Abuja, was arrested at Tarfa local government area of Kaduna state for stealing an Ipad and a computer monitor from a hotel, in Sabon Wuse, Niger state.
Isa sold the monitor to one Taofik Salau at the sum of N5, 000 and the Ipad to one Ladan for the sum of N10,000.
According to Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT), arrested the suspect after deligent investigations.
“In the course of investigation, Police Operatives discovered that he was an excapee from the Kuje jailbreak in June, 2022. He was initially convicted to life imprisonment for the murder of one Indian nationale in 2013 and has spent 10 years prior to his excape from the detention facility in Kuje,” the force spokesman said.
