The gates of Buckingham Palace, Balmoral and Windsor Castle were lined up with flowers, photos of the Queen and tribute notes following the demise of Britain’s longest reigning monarch, Queen Elizabeth II.

As earlier reported by truthlive.net, the death of the Queen was announced by the Royal family at around 6.30pm yesterday September 8 at Balmoral Castle in Aberdeenshire. She was aged 96years and she reigned for 70years.

Around the world, people are condoling with the British royal family and according to the new Prime Minister, Liz Truss, the late Queen was the “rock on which modern Britain was built”.

The Queen was a mother, grandmother and great grand mother. She visited more than 20 different African countries through her lifetime.

One of the written tributes described her death as “losing the mother of the country” and thousands of mourners have gathered at the castle to say goodbye. Some mourners defiled the heavy rain yesterday to pay their last respects to the Queen by staying outside the Buckingham Palace.
