Despite all the shenanigans from the candidates from the camp of the Edo state governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, the candidates from the legacy Peoples Democratic Party, PDP loyal to the National Vice Chairman, Chief Dan Orbih have been enlisted by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, as the authentic candidates for the 2023 general elections.
Subsequently, the Senatorial candidates for Edo North, Edo Central, and Edo South, Hon. Barr. Paschal Ugbome, Dr. Arc Mike Onolememen and Hon Engr. Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama respectively have all been confirmed as the authentic candidates from the primaries monitored by the electoral commission.
Truthlive.net gathered that all other candidates for the house of representatives and the state house of assembly loyal to the Orbih camp have all been approved by INEC.
