NIGERIA, UYO – The Akwa Ibom State Government has announced the commencement of its 2025 Civil Service recruitment exercise, inviting qualified applicants to fill various vacancies across ministries and agencies.

Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ekerete Udoh, disclosed the information in a statement posted on his verified Facebook page on Monday.

According to the statement, all applications must be submitted through the official ARISE Employment Portal at https://employment.akwaibomstate.gov.ng

The government warned applicants against patronizing middlemen or unofficial websites, emphasizing that the process will be transparent and merit-based.

“The only approved method of application is through the ARISE Employment Portal,” Udoh stated, urging applicants to verify job details before applying.

He added that the recruitment aims to strengthen public service delivery and create employment opportunities for qualified indigenes of the state.

The statement further directed applicants to review job descriptions carefully, confirm eligibility, and complete submissions before the November 10, 2025 deadline.

The recruitment support office is located at Plot 2, Block 1, Third Floor, Idongesit Nkanga Secretariat, Uyo.

For inquiries, applicants are advised to contact the recruitment team via email at support@employment.akwaibomstate.gov.ng or call 02012291111.

Udoh reaffirmed the government’s commitment to fair employment practices and warned that no applicant should pay money to any individual or group for job placement.

He maintained that Governor Umo Eno’s administration remains committed to the ARISE Agenda, which prioritizes transparency, youth empowerment, and efficient governance.

“The Civil Service remains the engine room of government,” Udoh noted, stressing that the new intake will enhance service delivery across sectors.

He urged interested candidates to take advantage of the opportunity and submit their applications promptly to avoid late-hour challenges.

As the recruitment exercise begins, the state government has assured applicants of a credible process that reflects fairness, competence, and accountability in public service management.
