The Authentic Nigeria Football and Allied Sports Supporters Club (ANFASSC) deeply mourns the tragic loss of members of Team Kano, who lost their lives in the recent auto crash while returning from the National Sports Festival in Ogun State.
In a statement on Sunday, ANFASSC said;
“These were not just athletes and officials – they were national heroes who carried our hopes with pride and purpose. Their sacrifice in service to sport and country must never be forgotten.
“We extend our heartfelt condolences to their families, the people of Kano State, and the Nigerian sporting community. We also pray for the swift recovery of the injured.
“ANFASSC calls on the Federal Government to honor their memory with tangible support – through compensation, care for their families, and scholarships for their children.
“May their souls rest in peace. Their legacy lives on in the heart of every true Nigerian supporter”.
