The chairman of the Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission (PCACC), Muhuyi Rimingado has been nabbed over an allegation of the diversion of N4 billion.
It was alleged that Rimingado has been linked to a high-profile corruption case in the state and he is scheduled to be moved to Abuja.
A source within the commission who preferred anonymity said Rimingado was arrested on Friday, January 24, 2025, by some police officers led by Assistant Superintendent of Police, Ahmed Bello.
According to the source “He was arrested today (Friday) and he would likely be taken to Abuja.”
Another top source said that his arrest might not be unconnected to the trial of Bola Inuwa, a former Managing Director of Kano Agricultural Supply Company Limited (KASCO).
