The All Progressives Congress (APC) was created out of anger, malice, and hatred, and has never been a serious political party, according to former Jigawa State Governor, Alhaji Sule Lamido.
Lamido stated this in his autobiography, “Being True To Myself”, which was unveiled on May 13th.
The former governor claimed he was shocked when his PDP colleagues joined the opposition ahead of the 2015 elections and didn’t hesitate to distance himself from their decision.
Lamido described the APC’s proponents as “parochial scavengers” who see politics as a huge enterprise.
He noted that the APC turned history upside down by promoting a so-called “Mr. Integrity” and hoodwinking Nigerians with false tags.
Lamido revealed that he turned down several requests to join the APC during the PDP’s internal crisis, believing it was more honorable to remain in the PDP and work towards resolving its problems.
