Arsenal are looking to hijack Tottenham’s move to sign Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze.
The Gunners have had discussions with Eze’s representatives.
Mikel Arteta is seeking to add quality attacking signings to his squad ahead of next season.
Arsenal are in the market for a No. 9 and a left-sided forward, and Eze could fit the latter role.
The 26-year-old has a £68 million buy-out clause in his Palace contract.
At that price, Eze could be a cheaper option than Real Madrid’s Brazilian forward Rodrygo, who is also a target for Arsenal.
