EDO, BENIN CITY – The Senator representing the Edo North Senatorial district, Adams Oshiomhole has again boasted that the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi and the nation’s former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar will loss again woefully to Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the forthcoming 2027 presidential election.

The boast is coming following the speculation that Atiku and Obi may run on a joint ticket for the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Truth Live News Media reports that the former governor of Edo State, said this while speaking on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics.

Oshiomhole said that both Atiku and Obi have a history of electoral failure, whether they run together or separately, and that they would meet the same fate if they teamed up again against President Bola Tinubu.

“Did Atiku and Obi not run together before and contested against APC? You can throw any number you want to throw but the point is that, when these two ran together, they were loudly defeated by APC.

“So why are you suggesting if the two, when they did before, what happened?

“You are the one who is recycling history. They have a history of being defeated together, and they have a history of being defeated apart.

“They ran together. They were defeated. They ran separately, they were defeated. If they come back together, very good. They will still be defeated,” Oshiomhole added.
