Segun Sowunmi, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former spokesman for Atiku Abubakar’s 2023 presidential campaign, has stated that he is not tied to anybody.
Sowunmi noted that his recent visit to President Bola Tinubu did not imply a betrayal of his affiliation with Atiku.
He described President Tinubu as smarter than his opponents, including Peter Obi of the Labour Party, saying, “He is smarter than Peter Obi, he is smarter than them.”
Sowunmi asserted his independence, stating, “I am at liberty as an adult to take decisions,” and adding, “I own my mouth, I own my words, and I own my arguments.”
