Due to many prolonged and intermittent academic disruptions that took place in the country, God gave her the opportunity to relocate to the United Kingdom in order to continue her paused academic pursuits.

In 2004, Deborah gained an admission to study Pharmaceutical Sciences at the London Metropolitan University. After completing
her Degree Programme, she further did a Post Study Work in Business Administration.

Deborah loved her God and Saviour passionately. She had given her life to Jesus Christ at an early age, and she was unwavering in her commitment and devotion to God till her last breath.

She served the LORD with absolute and total commitment, and with all that God gave to her: Grace, Wisdom, Strength and Finances.

Her love for God was clear in the way she served the people of God. She was a Servant-Leader, who even though she was an ordained Pastor, yet she stooped low to serve people that presented with all kinds of individual circumstances. She demonstrated the Love of Christ to everyone that crossed her path.

As mentioned already, she was an ordained minister of God within the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCF) Worldwide and had been actively and tirelessly serving the Lord among the brethren at RCCG Victory Centre London for over 11 years till date.

She served as the deputy head of the Church’s Finance Department, a position that required only members with utmost honesty, sincerity and integrity. She also served as the Secretary for the entire Ministerial and Leadership Team at Victory Centre for many years till her passing, a position that involved administration, planning, organising and executing various activities among the Church’s Leadership Team. She was a committed member of the Church’s Evangelism Team and the Prayer Champions. She was the coordinator of the Church’s Sunday School Teachers’ Group, and at sundry times, assisted the Sanctuary Keepers of the Church with cleaning of the premises. Finally, within the wider RCCG-UK Family, she was a very active member of the Counselling Team.

Her service to humanity was not just restricted to her Faith community. In addition to all of these, she volunteered at the Esteem Foundation Community Organisation, where she Supported local Foodbanks in distributing food and nourishment to local people facing hardship. Deborah’s life, which is worthy of emulation, was an example of divine love, kindness, empathy, support, peace, commitment and selflessness.

May her soul continue to rest in the Bosom of her Saviour and LORD till we meet again on the
Resurrection Morning. (Amen).

She is survived by her brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces.
