A Labour Party, LP, staunch member, Morris Money, has accused Bolt, an online taxi platform, of unjustly shutting him out of its service over unfounded allegations by one of its drivers on account of political argument both men had previously.
Providing screen grabs of Bolt official communication to him alleging that Money failed to pay the driver agreed fee for his service and money transfer detail debunking the allegation, Monye stated that the action of Bolt is less than salutrory.
According to Sikiru Kunle Yusuf, Monye failed to pay the taxi service fee of N2,500 on 17, March for which he has been temporarily suspended.
Monye, however, says that it is not the case.
“I last took a bolt on 17th of March (for me, it was the safest thing to move around with pre-election undetected and silently).
“Tried to take one today 5th April for an emergency and saw I was blocked till 2030 over unresolved fees,” narrated in series of tweets.
“Now this is what happened,” he explains.
“I remember calls came in and I was very anti-APC and of course pro-GRV( Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivours, LP Lagos Governorship Candidate).
“The driver’s face was not happy.
“I Didn’t even take note, he dropped me off at my location, I paid (he attached transaction receipt to tweets) and I don’t even think of it again till today.
“In his small mindedness, this is how to stop me from moving around,” Monye says.
The tweets have generated heated debate on social media but Bolt is yet to make response to the claims.
