In a shocking turn of events, Dr. Cairo Ojougboh, a former Representative Member who once represented the Ika federal constituency of Delta State, has tragically passed away.

Truth Live News gathered that the incident occurred during the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) semi-final match between Nigeria and South Africa on Wednesday in Bouake.

The unfortunate incident took place when a penalty was awarded against Nigeria in the crucial semi-final clash. Witnesses reported that Dr. Cairo Ojougboh, who was passionately following the game, suddenly slumped in response to the intense moment on the field.

Efforts were immediately made to revive him as fellow spectators and medical personnel rushed to his aid. However, despite their swift response, the former Rep Member could not be revived, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
