Liverpool and Portugal forward Diogo Jota has died following a car crash in Spain at the age of 28, Portuguese media have reported.
Jota had reportedly been travelling in a car with his brother Andre, who is also a 26-year-old footballer, when the vehicle went off road.
The incident occurred on the A-52 in the province of Zamora.
According to Spanish media Marca and Diario AS, Diogo Jota, the 28‑year‑old Liverpool and Portugal forward, has tragically died in a car accident near Zamora, Spain, alongside his brother André.
