President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Nigeria and his Brazilian counterpart, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, on Monday witnessed the signing of a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that formalizes a Bilateral Air Service Agreement (BASA) between the two nations.
The agreement, which took place in the presence of Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Olorogun Festus Keyamo, SAN, and Brazil’s Minister of Transport, is expected to enhance direct air connectivity, promote trade, tourism, and foster cultural exchanges between Africa’s largest economy and Latin America’s economic powerhouse.
