Chioma Adeleke, wife of Nigerian music star Davido, has returned to social media after a three-year hiatus following the tragic loss of her son, Ifeanyi.
The chef and mother of twins reappeared on Instagram with an emotional post on Wednesday, sharing photos of a bouquet that carried a framed picture of her late child. The bouquet is the one she carried for her wedding ceremony which held in Miami on August 11, 2025. In a heartfelt caption, she expressed her enduring love and grief, as she captioned the photo;
“My best friend walked me into forever… Ify, you’re on my mind everyday and you live in my heart. Always and forever. Love, mummy.”
Chioma and Davido lost their three-year-old son in October 2022, after he drowned in the home swimming pool, an incident that drew an outpouring of condolences from fans, friends, and celebrities worldwide. Since then, Chioma had stayed away from social media, making her latest post a deeply emotional moment for her followers.
Fans have flooded her comment section with words of comfort, prayers, and encouragement. The post has since gathered over 35,000 comments in less than 10hours.
