A Management Consultant, Festus Etame, an Isoko indigene from Delta State, has proposed to Tiwa Savage via a love letter, asking her hand in marriage, saying that, he is only coming to stay and not to eat and runs away.
In a letter, that had gone viral, Festus said he is single man having lost his Yoruba wife in 2019.
Recall, recently Tiwa Savage revealed that she is opened to being a second wife, expressing her wish to remarry after a relationship with talent hunter, Tunji Balogun aka TeeBillz gone awry years back.
The mother of one had said: “I am very open to be a second wife. I have no problem with polygamy.”
However, Festus, in the letter of proposal written to the music maestro said: Dear Tiwa Savage:
Almost a week ago, I posted my marriage proposal to you on my Facebook page, asking for your hand in marriage as my first and only wife. I believe in monogamy.
“I felt that you shouldn’t be a second or third wife to any polygynist. I promised to adopt your son.
“I’m Isoko of Delta State. I live in Abuja. I’m single, educated, and am into management consultancy, book authorship and publications.
“My dream of marrying you wasn’t to come and eat into your wealth or share in your fame. No!
“For the record, I once married a brilliant and intelligent Yoruba lady like you. But God took her home in August 2019. For over six years now, I’ve been searching for true love again. But the ‘church girls’ I’ve met are ‘born against’ believers.
“I do not smoke, drink alcohol or womanize.
“You’re beautiful enough for me. I’ll seek no other woman.
“I’ve assured myself that marrying you will be a test ground for my Christian lifestyle.
“I know you’ve hundreds of proposals from suitors. But be careful. It’s aptly said that ‘once beaten, twice shy’. You cannot afford to fail in a second marriage. I’m the right suitor for you. Remember, the devil’s apples are full of worms.
“I pray God to guide you. All that glitters isn’t gold. I’m not coming to ‘chop and run’. I’m here to chop and remain with you. As a Management Consultant, I’ll be able to manage our successes for our joint good.
“May the Lord bless you.
“I remain your husband-to-be.
Festus”
