The inaugural Edo Global Football Fiesta, an Under-16 tournament organized by Naija Global Sports Enterprise Solution, has gained significant support following a courtesy visit to Edo State Football Association Chairman, Fred Newton Erhumwense.
Led by the Local Organising Committee Chairmen, Itietie Omojevwe J and Mr. Ikuomase Edosa, the organizers shared plans for the December 2025 tournament, highlighting backing from the Edo State Civil Society Organisations (EDOCSO).
Erhumwense expressed enthusiasm for the event, pledging the FA’s full support to ensure its success.
He commended the organizers’ efforts to advance youth football in Edo State.
Beyond football, the tournament aims to address social issues like cultism and drug abuse, reflecting the organizers’ commitment to youth well-being.
They lauded Erhumwense’s contributions to football development and promised regular updates.
The meeting ended with the presentation of a branded t-shirt to the Chairman and a photo session. With this support, the Edo Global Football Fiesta is poised for success.
