The former minister of works, Dr(Arc) Mike Onolomemen CON, has felicitated with Muslims in Edo State as they observe Eid-el-Kabir.
Dr. Onolomemen conveyed his felicitation message through an official statement released on Wednesday morning, June 28, 2023, which was made available to Truth Live News.
“I felicitate with all Muslims in the state as they observe the festival of Eid. Part of the joy of this moment should be spend on remembering those in out communities who are without much resources. We must show compassion and mercy towards our fellow beings. I am aware this is a festival of sacrifice and obidience to the dictates of God Almighty, the Most Merciful.
“This period, even as we enjoy the festivity, we must reflect on virtues such as tolerance, patience, perseverance, selflessness, love and most importantly, compassion for our fellow humans. As we show good deeds to fellow Muslims, we must all show the same towards others of different religious persuasions so that we can leave in peace, unity and harmony irrespective of our differences.
“I wish you all a happy Sallah celebration in peace and tranquility,” the Adolor of Uromi Kingdom said.
