Nigeria’s former President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan and wife, Patience, on Monday commissioned what may be the South South region’s longest bridge.
Jonathan and his wife arrived the Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State Capital, to commission an estimated 1.15km, the Afi-Uko Ntighe Bridge to the 19km Etebi – Enwang Road.
The bridge is expected to make living in Afi-Uko Ntighe and Etebi – Enwang communities better with ease of transport.
The newly executed bridge by the state Governor Udom Emmanuel is also expected to link Mbo and Esit Eket local governments communities.
