Presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Alh. Atiku Abubakar, in the days ahead, may come to terms with the consequences of losing an electoral contest, serially, after it emerged that his key lieutenants have started seeking refuge in the camp of his archenemy, Governor Nyisome Wike of Rivers State.

This disclosure is part of the subterranean gist in Wadata Plaza, headquarters of the party in Abuja after the unceremonious manner in which the party Chairman, Iyochia Ayu, was shoved aside and stymied from making an effective fight back by court action.

As learned by Truth Live News, able right-hand men like Dino Melaye, former senator, and key spokesmen of the former vice president are said to have sent powerful lobby groups to the governor seeking ways of mending fences.

“Nobody is sure how long Atiku will remain in this fight before moving out to Dubai,” explained a top party source.

According to him, former Senate President, Adolphus Wabara, board of trustees chairman of the party, is believed to be playing a big role in the fence-mending moves.

“PDP needs a very strong leader at this time and they are all looking up to Wike who has demonstrated strength in the last election both presidential and governorship,” said the source.

The source who also asked not to be mentioned by name added that the former PDP men seeking to mend fences with Wike are anxious about what the future holds for them.

Ayu’s ward in Benue sensationally suspended the national party chairman.

Less than 48 hours Later, a court restrained the national party chairman from parading himself as such.
