Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand believes only two teams can win the Premier League title next season.
Liverpool won the title in Arne Slot’s first campaign and are the reigning champions, finishing 10 points ahead of Arsenal.
The Reds have strengthened their squad with signings like Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz.
Manchester City have also bolstered their team with new arrivals, including Rayan Ait-Nouri, Rayan Cherki, and Tijjani Reijnders.
Arsenal are yet to finalize some key signings, but are expected to confirm the transfer of Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad soon.
Ferdinand is unimpressed by Arsenal’s summer activity, saying, “It’s only going to be between Liverpool and Man City next season.”
“Arsenal might kick up a fuss for a couple of months – six months maybe – [but nothing more],” he added.
