His Royal Highness, Alhaji Halilu Bala Usman, the Osu Ajiri of Udege Chiefdom and former Deputy Governor of the old Plateau State, has passed away after a protracted illness.
The first-class traditional ruler died on Sunday, and his burial has been scheduled for Monday in Udege, Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, in accordance with Islamic rites.
The late monarch left behind a legacy of dedication and community development, revered for his leadership and service to both his people and the state.
His passing has thrown the entire Udege community and Nasarawa State into mourning.
