Chuks Ibegbu, former spokesperson of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, is calling on Northern state governors to speak out against the violent activities of herdsmen in Southern Nigeria.

Ibegbu expressed disappointment that despite the attacks on farmers in states like Ondo, Enugu, and Ebonyi, Northern governors and notable personalities have remained silent on the issue.

The nation cannot be built with this kind of mindset, Ibegbu emphasized, urging the governors to show concern for the welfare of all Nigerians, regardless of their location.

Ibegbu also advised President Tinubu to prioritize solving Nigeria’s economic problems at home rather than traveling abroad frequently.

Additionally, he cautioned the President against appointing individuals with financial crime records as ambassadors, warning that such appointments could promote corruption among Nigerian youths.
