Fuel, New Notes Scarcity: Protesters Attack Oyo Gov’s Office, Destroy Properties

During the protest that rocked Ibadan the Oyo State capital earlier today, scores of protesters reportedly stormed the office of the state Governor, Seyi Makinde and attacked it using stones and other handful objects.

Recall that earlier, several residents of the state capital had stormed the Iwo road area to protest the recent the scarcity of fuel and the new naira notes which has thrown scores of Nigerians across the country into untold hardship in the last few days.

Truth Live News gathered that some protesters marched to the Oyo State Secretariat, Agodi Ibadan, and attempted to force their way into the Governor’s office.

However, they were said to have been have been repelled by security operatives attached to the governor’s office.

Following the action of the security operatives, the protesters reportedly threw stones and other dangerous weapons into the governor’s office.
