Galatasaray management has requested Victor Osimhen and his representatives to make a decision regarding his future with the club by early July.
This was disclosed by respected football commentator Serkan Korkmaz.
The Turkish Süper Lig champions want Osimhen to decide whether he’ll stay with the team or explore other options, with several top European clubs, including Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal, reportedly interested in signing him.
“Let’s not drag this out too long. Let’s make a decision on this issue at the beginning of July,” Galatasaray management told Osimhen’s representatives, according to football commentator Serkan Korkmaz.
Osimhen’s loan deal with Galatasaray expired some weeks ago, and he’s currently on summer holiday.
The 26-year-old Nigerian striker has been linked to several clubs, including Al Hilal, Galatasaray, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, Juventus, and Arsenal.
Galatasaray’s vice-president, Abdullah Kavukcu, previously stated that Osimhen needs to decide his future quickly, emphasizing that time is running out.
The club had reportedly considered securing Osimhen’s services permanently but may have given up due to his €75 million release clause from Napoli and demanded salary of €15 million per annum.
