Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has revealed the key areas Nigerian musician 2Face Idibia will focus on as Technical Adviser for Entertainment and Community Outreach.
Truth Live News recalled that the governor announced the musician’s appointment on Wednesday during his (2 Face’s) visit to the Government House in Markurdi.
In a post on his official Facebook page on Thursday, the governor revealed 2Face’s new role.
As part of his new role, 2Face will mentor budding musical talents across Benue State, helping to nurture and develop the state’s music industry.
The musician will also showcase and celebrate Benue’s diverse musical cultures, from Etulo to Idoma, Igede, Tiv, and beyond, for local recognition and global appeal.
Additionally, 2Face will collaborate with talent managers to promote Benue’s brightest stars to stardom and organize annual talent hunt events and competitions to promote unity, peace, and growth across the state.
Furthermore, he will secure funding from government, NGOs, and corporate bodies to support entertainment initiatives and provide opportunities for the state’s youth.
