NIGERIA, UYO – Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Miss Abigail Isaac, the Chairman of the Consolidated Chapel of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Akwa Ibom State Council.
In a condolence message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Ekerete Udoh, Governor Eno described the late Abigail Isaac as a dedicated and resourceful journalist whose contributions to the media landscape in the state were commendable.
“I received with shock the news of the passing of Abigail Isaac, a committed and hardworking journalist who served diligently as the Chairman of the Consolidated Chapel of the NUJ.

Her dedication to the profession and her leadership within the media community will be greatly missed,” the Governor stated.
“On behalf of the government and people of Akwa Ibom State, I extend our deepest sympathies to her family, the Chairman of the NUJ, Akwa Ibom State Council, Comrade Amos Etuk, and the entire media fraternity in the state. This is indeed a sad loss,” he added.
Governor Eno assured the bereaved family of the government’s support as funeral arrangements are made and prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul.
“May her soul rest in peace,” the statement concluded.
