According to the zonal Chairman of the PDP in the south-south, Chief Dan Osi Orbih, the party is confident of posting victorious outings in the zones come Saturday owing to what he described as strategic planning of the party in these areas, particularly Rivers and all the states in the zone.

In an exclusive interview with Truth Live News on Sunday, Chief Orbih who was on the entourage of the rivers state Governor, Barr. Dr. Nyesom Wike on Saturday and visited major markets in the State, expressed satisfaction over what he called the “strategic moves” by the party in Rivers state to ensure it governorship candidate, Simi Fubara, and other houses of assembly candidates come out victorious on Saturday.

He said: “Apart from moving around with His Excellency, Chief Nyesom Wike to visit all the major stakeholders in the state up to about 1. am this morning which produced very cheering results, I’m also aware that the people of Rivers State are very happy with the party in the state considering the monumental achievements of the governor in the May eight years and are ready to ensure there’s continuity by electing our candidate to consolidate and continue with the wonderful works Gov Wike has done for the people of Rivers state.”

I’ve seen the mood here in Rivers, it’s PDP all through, I’m in touch with our candidates in the zone and I can assure you that the PDP will be winning those states come March 18.

“Apart from Rivers, our candidates in other South-South states are equally strong and victory is certain for us in the zone at the end of the exercise on Saturday, Chief Orbih confirmed to our correspondent through a telephone interview.
