LAGOS, IKEJA – The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, will on Sunday, November 2, 2025, lead a global prayer session dedicated to singles, mature singles, waiting mothers, and expectant mothers during the church’s November Thanksgiving Service.
The Nation reports that the special service, scheduled for 8:00 a.m. at The Throne of Grace, RCCG National Headquarters, Ebute-Metta, Lagos, is expected to attract millions of participants both physically and virtually across the world.
According to Pastor Oladele Balogun, Special Assistant to the General Overseer (Administration), the prayer session is a divinely inspired initiative to bring hope, restoration, and breakthroughs to individuals and families trusting God for marital settlement, conception, and new beginnings.
He explained that recent population surveys indicate that singles and mature singles between the ages of 20 and 45 make up over 40% of Nigeria’s adult population, showing a vibrant but growing group seeking divine intervention in marriage and family life.

“Globally, millions of waiting and expectant mothers within RCCG’s network of over 190 nations continue to trust God for the fruit of the womb,” Pastor Balogun said, describing the event as “a deeply spiritual and emotional moment for families united in faith.”
He advised those in Lagos and its environs to attend physically, noting that RCCG-branded buses will be available at major bus stops from 6:30 a.m. to ease movement. Visitors will also receive modest gifts as tokens of love.
For those unable to attend, the service will be streamed live across all RCCG social media platforms, ensuring global participation.
Balogun added that the Thanksgiving Service promises to be “a morning of divine encounters, restoration, and testimonies,” as Pastor Adeboye ministers under a special unction for breakthroughs in marriage, fruitfulness, and long-awaited prayers.
