Honourable Paschal Ugboma has told the Peoples Democratic Party’s Leaders, members and supporters that he remain the Edo North PDP for the 2023 elections.
According to a statement issued to newsmen, he assured that he will continue to take legitimate actions to ensure that the mandate given to him will not whimsically and administratively be stolen.
The statement reads “distinguished PDP Party Leaders, Members and Supporters once again i thank you for the overwhelming support you gave to me by nominating me on the 23rd of May, 2022 to fly the Flag of our Party as the Edo North Senatorial Candidate”.
“It has been a tortious journey ever since, having been faced with an attempt at usurping that overwhelming mandate which climaxed in the interesting Judgment delivered by the Federal High Court, Benin on Tuesday”.
“Ofcourse, we disagree with the Judgment and indeed have taken Steps to Appeal the same believing that we did not get Justice according to Law and Facts”. He added
“The journey may be far but we shall get there and i shall be at the Red Chambers”.
“Despair not as we shall shortly begin to take our message of “Ominimini and the Breath of Fresh Air” to all the nooks and crannies of Afemai Land in our vigorous campaign to win the 2023 election”, the statement reads.
