Dr Asue Ighodalo, a leading political figure and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the 2024 Edo State Governorship Election, has extended warm Easter greetings to the people of Edo State and Nigerians at large.
In a personally signed message, Dr Ighodalo celebrated the significance of Easter and called on citizens to remain hopeful, united, and steadfast in their faith during challenging times.
“This time of year reminds us of hope, renewal, and the power of faith,” he wrote. “Just as the resurrection of Christ signifies new beginnings, I urge each of you to embrace the spirit of transformation that Easter brings.”
Addressing the current situation in Edo State, Dr Ighodalo acknowledged the difficulties people are facing but stressed that unity and resilience could lead the state toward a better future.
“Our strength lies in our ability to come together, to support one another, and to believe in a shared, brighter future,” he said.
He also encouraged citizens to remain prayerful, urging prayers for leaders, families, youth, and for wisdom in making decisions that benefit the entire state.
“As we revel in the joy of Easter, let us carry in our hearts its timeless message: that through faith, love, and unity, we shall rise,” he added.
