
Former Super Eagles international and Spartak Moscow winger, Victor Moses has vowed to bounce back stronger after picking an Achilles injury on Saturday against Ural in Russian Premier League match.
Moses who suffered injury during the first half of the match couldn’t finish the match as Spartak Moscow went ahead to a 2-0 win against Ural on match day four.
The former Chelsea player was streched out of the pitch after going down in the 32nd minute without any contact with the opposition during the match left the stadium on crutches on Saturday.
The club, on their website on Monday, confirmed that the Nigerian had suffered an Achilles tendon injury and could face up to six months out of action.
Speaking on his return, the 31-year-old vowed to be back stronger.
“Devastated to have suffered an injury in the game at the weekend,” Moses wrote on Twitter.
“I will be doing all I can to recover and get back fully fit as quickly as possible to help the team.
“Thank you so much to everyone at the club and all of the fans for your fantastic support. I’ll be back stronger.”
