Inter Miami head coach Javier Mascherano acknowledges the superior quality of Paris Saint-Germain ahead of their Club World Cup last 16 match on Sunday, knowing his team is the weaker side.
“It’s clear and we’re not naive, we know that we’re the weaker team around the time of the match,” Mascherano said.
“We’re going to fight, which is what it’s all about,” Mascherano emphasized, highlighting the importance of determination in the face of adversity.
According to Mascherano, Inter Miami needs to find a way to take advantage of PSG’s vulnerabilities, as “there’s no such thing as a perfect team, and they can be hurt”.
Mascherano’s team has shown resilience in the tournament, drawing 2-2 with Palmeiras and beating Porto 2-1.
