In a decisive operation, troops of Sector 2, Operation Hadin Kai, in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), neutralised a terrorist during a long-range ambush near Ndoksa village, close to Buni Gari in Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe State.
The operation, reported by Zagazola Makama on Saturday, was executed based on credible intelligence tracking terrorist movements in the region.
According to a reliable source, the troops successfully eliminated one terrorist and recovered an AK-47 rifle along with two motorcycles during the ambush.
The operation marks a significant blow to terrorist activities in the area, showcasing the military’s commitment to rooting out insurgency. “The successful ambush is part of the ongoing aggressive operations to deny terrorists freedom of movement, disrupt their logistics, and safeguard communities in the North East,” the source emphasized.
This latest effort shows the continued collaboration between Operation Hadin Kai and local security outfits like the CJTF to restore peace and security in Yobe State and the broader North East region, where terrorist groups have long posed a threat to civilian safety and stability.
